Short to medium term public transport service plan for the Inner Southwest post-delivery of Metro SW
Transport for NSW is proposing to again remove the Inner West Line: Liverpool to City via Regents Park; convert the T5 Cumberland Line into 3 carriage Metro services from Aerotropolis to Epping via new tunnels north of Merrylands/Parramatta; and a new Metro line from Westmead Hospital/Parramatta to Kogarah via Bankstown.

Transport for NSW would disagree with you, their 2020 report for Future Rail in the West of Bankstown area found that 89% of commuters want the Inner West Line (Liverpool via Regents Park) restored. There's plenty of demand, even the NSW Parliament Inquiry into Sydenham-Bankstown line conversion (2019-2020) also made recommendation for the former Inner West Line (Liverpool via Regents Park) to be restored!
